Head of Unit for Physician Led Innovation, Emergency MD Clinical, Innovation Fellow
Peter Kelly, MD is an emergency physician, and head of the unit of physician-led innovation and technology, at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, Sweden's largest hospital. He has background at Karolinska University Hospital and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, In Stockholm. Sweden has a growing, as well as overall aging, population and radical change is needed to be able to provide good health care in the future. Key to transforming health care is to create a new way to be a doctor - making smarter antibiotics choices with AI, helping patients with PTSD through VR and other technologies, but also finding a new patient-doctor relationship. In his role of head the unit for physician-led innovation and technology, one of a few of its' kind in the world, Peter is part of leading this change. He will be sharing his insights how changing how physicians work is essential if we want to provide good health care in the future.
